The System Design begins once the discovery report or a preliminary technical purchasing specification of the Discovery phase has been completed. 

The System Design may be done by Cedetaş or by your own experts.

If the System Design is done by Cedetaş some of the areas that we will consider include the following:

·        For each of your machines, equipment and worker inputs in your process, we will work to understand what and how they communicate. 

·        Cedetaş will identify opportunities to better integrate this data over a wired or wireless secure network. 

·        Cedetaş will work with you to identify and implement responsive, control algorithms which will be triggered when undesirable conditions occur, such as excessive temperature, vibration, material losses, equipment failures, etc. 

·        As needed, we will make this data available to devices of choice to key authorized personnel, such as process management, maintenance, quality management and cost accounting, to name a few. 

·        We will create a centralized data lake from which you may access and analyze historical trends, present data to other systems, correlate events, extract insight and predict performance opportunities and risks. 

At the end of this phase, Cedetaş will specify all of the necessary material and software needed to realize the design and present you with some options. 

Although Cedetaş has experience with most of the major brands within the automation sector, your staff may have an affinity for particular brands of equipment depending on your existing machine park or communication protocols.  From a management perspective, based on your economic and technical preferences, this project may be broken down into and implemented in successive phases. 

The implementation may be done by Cedetaş’ staff or by your technical staff.  Based on their experience, your technical staff may require training and/or supervision from Cedetaş.

As a result, and based on your preferences for the scope of design, the System Design requirements will be clarified and fixed for application and purchasing process in the form of a new or renewed technical purchasing specification.
